3D Machining

3D milling sets cnc manufacturing apart from traditional woodworking or fabrication.  The ability to quickly shape materials to a precise shape is a valuable tool for many industries.  Whether you are looking to create a 3D mold, art piece, or are looking to make a topographic model, HONE is able to work with you to fulfill your needs.

Operation Types

3D machining starts by roughing out your parts.  This is usually performed with a larger bit in a stepped down process.  Extra material is left which then gets machined away in a finishing process.  While faster than shaping complex parts by hand, 3D machining generally takes longer than simply cutting out flat parts.
